Skinny Player

skinny_player

The Skinny Player kinda reminds me of the O+ Music Campaign where the promotional kit offers one song in various mediums. The concept here with the Skinny Player is to offer one album space on a portable – Band Aid-esque device. The self-sticking player houses a play/stop button and flexible speakers. Although I am not so sure about the sound quality for the output, but the idea is worth exploring. The user-scenario is for exercise or such places where you want to keep your hands free, but still carry your music with you.
The unique angle to the player is that hopes to use your body heat for powering the device. Now if this is possible or utopian , is left to be seen.

Phone Hovers in Space

floatingsmartphone04Oh so you’re not satisfied with phones that connect at speeds almost as fast as you can click and hundreds of new applications that do everything under the sun each day? Well here’s something new for you then! It’s a concept design done by two industrious folks In-oh Yoo and Sun-woong Oh who want nothing more than to bring you a phone that spins in mid-air. This phone works in tangent with its charging cradle, its cradle, the phone and magnets creating a space where the phone spins while charging, creating a unique aesthetic experience.

First, the phone itself has a sleek candybar design you should all be relatively familiar with. The iPhone and a slew of Android-based phones look right along these lines, and this looks fabulous. Hollow parts at the top and bottom of the phone “ensure that it is being charged wirelessly” though how that’s accomplished appears to be a trade secret. The phone is thin, streamlined, and made to fit naturally in the palm of your hand.

imove-electric-car-gives-the-touch-of-apple-into-future-transportation2

iPod. iPhone.. iPad… What else do you expect from Apple in future? Thinking of another high-tech handheld gadget? Why don’t think something beyond your imagination, iMove?

iMove is an electric car concept that has been specifically designed to be driven in the future streets by those who are already using various innovative Apple products. Design of the car was inspired by the Macintosh mouse, giving an open and cabriolet feel to the riders when driving. Accessing the car is super fun and stylish. The pyramidal shaped glass receptors have been placed on the roof that charges the electronic dashboard of the car. The back of the car is made of elastic textile materials that can hold the luggage underneath tightly. The exterior transparent area contains photocromic materials that enable the car to change its appearance in various situations.

Talking With A Palm

next_g

The future iPhone is here or at least in conceptual form. Given that size, design and features need to be drastically innovated, the NOT A Phone – Next Generation iPhone, delves into the projection arena. So basically you strap the next-gen iPhone to your wrist and project the display to your palm. You can figure out rest of the drill from the images, so my question to you today is….are we in for projection screens for phones? Is that the future of phone display, have a basic small screen and project the rest of it?
